Parents we have a tough role and responsibility God has entrusted us. I
know we have so many different activities and commitments we juggle, but
we have to make parenting a priority. The other day we had just arrived
from a night away from the home watching our oldest son play football.
As we were shutting down the house for the night and preparing for bed, I
heard a quiet voice tell me to look at the computer. So, I moved
towards the laptop that we keep at the dining table and felt compelled
to look at the history. |

I love how God's Word is so inspiring. I was reading in 1 Thessalonians
today where the apostle Paul was instructing the church of Thessalonica
how to treat others. It made me think of my parenting. I have 2 sons
that God has given me stewardship over and just like most children they
each have their unique personalities. One of them is more strong-willed, tends to test the limits, and be more
rebellious of authority. The other one is more timid, less confident,
and wants to please. Both appear to be lazy, but their laziness has a
different motivation. |
